Renee Luthe the new Program Director, and Primary Addictions Counselor of Foundations Center has a master’s degree in Human Services Office Administration, a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and is a licensed addictions counselor with her Certified Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification (C.A.D.C.) through the Illinois Department of Human services, Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.
Renee has 12 years’ experience in providing direct services to individuals with substance use disorders within inpatient & outpatient settings. Renee has worked in criminal justice arenas for 12 years either serving as an approved criminal/civil court provider for substance abuse treatment services or partner abuse intervention programming.
Renee is 40-hour domestic violence certified and 20-hour partner abuse intervention certified in addition to other certifications working with victims, children, and offenders of domestic violence. She has worked with victims, children and offenders for 12 years first working in a domestic violence shelter then transitioning into partner abuse intervention programming.

Our intention is to help each person and become more self-aware. We strive to help people learn how to live life more fully without abusing alcohol or substances.
Your Goals for Treatment:
After many years of service, we completely understand that our goals and your goals may not be exactly the same. As a client, your concern will be to complete your program for the court and getting your driver's license reinstated. At Foundations Center, our schedule is flexible enough to allow completion in an expedient manner. We will communicate with the court to ensure them that clients are attending and participating in their programs. We have a very good understanding of the reinstatement process through the Illinois Secretary of State and can help you begin to understand the process. We work very well with the attorneys in preparing documentation for the informal and formal hearings. We also work with Wisconsin and all other States.
